How i got over my EX boyfriend.

Few years ago, I was in love with a man I thought i could get to marry. We were in the midst of a rare moment of intimacy when I smiled at him, fully captivated by his charm.

From the moment we started connecting, the butterflies in me just couldn’t see us any way but together. Something about him was brilliantly different. He gave me a snuggling hug and told me I was lovely the first time we met, after dating for months online. His charm was palpable, and it grabbed me with the same kind of force I remembered coming under the spell of when we first met online, he wasn’t my first love, but i was crazy about this one and i didn’t want to let this one go. He had a big heart and a strong, handsome presence. I hadn’t been excited about anyone in years. In fact, I was a burned out dater who had lost hope of love.

I was so sure we were meant to be that I turned a blind eye to his bad habit of casually flirting with other ladies, or saying he would do things that never materialized. When we did actually spend time together it was more fun than I had with any other male friends. The fun of having him as mine made me forget the rollercoaster of disappointment I had chosen to board, until I was sitting in the front seat again with my heart aching. Even so, he continued to give me just enough to keep me chasing the fantasy that was us.

When we broke up, it was like a surprise dream i never expected to happen. At least not that soon. I felt broken that he could choose another girl over me knowing how much i love him in our few years together. i played deaf to all that was happening while i was dying inside. It felt so painful. I had this feeling that something really precious was taken away from me. I couldn’t move on, i started misbehaving and trying to fit into the world to draw back his attention. I slowly started to lose focus. It became all about him. It’s been 3yrs plus nd i have been stucked dreaming and wishing i could be his again.

Yes! I tried dating but it never worked out because i still took the love i had for my ex into the relationship. I tried all i could to forget him. My friends advice i take my mind off him but how do i when everyday i daydream about him. And i just hope it fades away. I won’t lie i knew he was not faithful from the start, what i felt for him was beyond sex so i manage to over look that and some little faults.

My pain now is, after 3 years I’m really just finding out the truth. You played me in more stupid way than i thought! What’s funny is that i feel content with and now you worth nothing to me anymore. So this is what it means to say “Time heals all wounds” well I’m done healing. If you just had your heart broken… Dont worry, all it takes is “TIME”

I’m open to new adventures and opportunities. Every girl deserve to be treated with love and respect.

There’s no magic in getting over your ex. It all has to do with you and your determination to let go and move on. I know it would hurt alot but give it time. You’ll be amazed at the silly things you whole heartedly cried for.

My trip from Accra to Lagos by road using GUO public transport

I feel very happy narrating my experience on my journey from Accra Ghana to Lagos Nigeria by road. It was my first time and i was having a doubtful feeling that the trip would be very boring since its a 9hr 25mins journey. I chose GUO public transport because of how reliable and how fast they are compared to other transports and also how reliable they are. I booked for a ticket which was 190GHS per person. The date was set for the 22nd of January 2017. I and maro sota were already at the station where we were asked to wait at Tema roundabout for the bus to pick us up. We waited for about an hour because the bus was coming from the main station in Accra. We boarded the bus and by 6:05am we took off. We were offered food white rice and stew with chicken and a plastic bottle water. The AC on the bus took me off and i found myself sleeping really comfortable🤗. By 8:51am we were already at Aflao-Togo border. Our passports were taken from us and were given to the immigration officers to stamp on them. We were not really delayed. We waited for about 10mins after which, we were released to go. I nd maro managed to take a picture at the border because we were told that taking pictures at the border was not allowed and that our phones will taken away from us if we are caught. Lol. While waiting, traders came in to advertise their products. Some passengers bought while some like me felt it was too expensive and i will get it cheaper at the next border. Lol. We took off from Aflao border into Togo. With the little view i saw, Togo is really a nice place. Nice beaches and all that. Then with the passenger in the bus, we stared gisting among ourselves. Talking about hair and makeup hahaha I’m very sure maro sota was lost in that area. The driver played Nigerian movie to keep us entertained while we rode to the next border. Before long, we got to Togo-benin border. We were asked to come down from the bus for yellow card check of which if you don’t have you either pay 5ghc or 500 naira for it. After the check, we were told to walk a little distance from togo border into benin republic ( first time i walked from one country to another 😜) there i got a very nice dashiki material for 20ghc while at Aflao border the lady told me 45ghc for 6 yards. I got 6 yards of same material at togo border for 20ghc (how lovely🙂). We entered the bus, other passengers that were hungry went to buy food. This was about 11:25am. The delay at Togo/Benin border was about 10-15mins because of the passengers that went to get food. We kicked off nd continued our journey. By 1:27pm we were already at seme- Nigeria border. There, we were delayed for about 20-25mins in this border (una know na, anything that has Nigeria in it is always different. Lolz😂), traders were not much so the interest to buy things wasn’t there. After the check, we continued our journey. It wasn’t long before we finally entered lagos by 2:20pm. It took us almost an hour to get to the bus station with the traffic. I really had a wonderful experience traveling by road nd it’s something I would love to do again. You see all those airport wahala. I didn’t experience any. It was the conductor in the bus that was taking our passports from us to do our run around for us. All we did was sit, enjoy the AC nd watch the movie. It was really a nice experience. I’m glad i took the road trip instead.🤗

Nawaooo…. Man Attacked With Weapons In Kaduna For Eating During Ramadan

A 41- year old carpenter, Francis Emmanuel has been attacked by young men he said were Muslims for daring to eat in the afternoon while most of the people fasted.

Speaking to journalists on his hospital bed, the carpenter said, “It happened around 2:30pm at Sokoto Road, Kakuri, on Tuesday, when I went to the market to buy wood to do some work. So, when I came back, I bought food to eat. As I was eating, about six Hausa boys came to ask me if I am a Muslim or a Christian, but I did not answer them. They asked why I was not fasting, then, I told them that I am not a Muslim. Before I know it, one of them slapped me. As I stood up, the rest came and surrounded me and started attacking me with knives.” When asked if he can identify them, he said, “I don’t know them.
“Nobody could come to my aid because of the type of knives the boys were carrying. They used cutlasses scissors and knives, I became unconscious, I don’t even know who brought me to the hospital,” he added.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai however paid him a visit on his hospital bed today, with a directive that police must fish out the perpetrators for prosecution.
